![]() they are getting rundown and the clientel seem to be getting a little more sketchy, the dining out. hated my new ones, really couldn't boat up by the casinos because the personal water craft were like fleas, the river moths became unbearable sooo we sold it, now that we are homeless if i was going to get another vacay home i would buy in havasu. it was great, great neighbors and then they moved. ![]() don't recommend that place, moved to a house on the river. I had a place in bullhead for close to thirty years saw it change, first i had a condo across from lowes, got tired of the clueless mis-no direction assoc. No, the current plan is to buy something in AZ or wherever (should have done that years ago before this got out of hand) and then sell the CA place and payoff the AZ purchase. Not super enthusiastic about living in Nevada but I guess there are some communities just outside of Laughlin to be looked at as well. And I guess there is more options for concerts and stuff in Laughlin than LHC. ![]() The casinos are ok, but I’m not much of a gambler. BHC seems to have more of an airport going on than LHC. It does seem that BHC has better big box chain stores for shopping and stuff like that, but I’ve been able to make do in LHC. At the moment I don’t have a winter/off-road program but I’d probably adopt one just because it works out there. I’d say my pace is slow and mellow, I’m not the hyperactive ADD type that has to be doing something all the time. We try to limit eating out, first it’s expensive for what you get, and second I prefer my cooking over most restaurants.Īs for the pace, I really don’t care either way, just as long as we can do our thing which is boating. Lots of Route 66 stops, if that interests you. Not much there if you don't have a boat or want to do water sports. Oatman with the wild burros was also fun. It was too much for a one day trip & driving on an unknown road at night. We also went to Bearazona in Williams since we love wildlife. If your looking for places to explore, we went to the Grand Canyon south rim, Williams was an interesting town also. Maybe it was an Uber driver also that picked us up since it wasn't a company vehicle. Another gentlemen at the airport used Hertz, they used an Uber driver to pick & take people back to their hotel. We had a charter flight also & it was better to stay with the group, plus it was 2 hours later on our time. Just go to the hotel with the group & pick up your car the next day (or whenever). Not sure what time your flight gets in but ours was around 8:00 pm, or so. They also brought us back when we were through with the car. It wasn't an Enterprise van (plain white van) with no sign, we finally figured it out after awhile. Enterprise had a van that picked us up at Harrah's to get the car. The car rentals for Laughlin are at the Bullhead City airport.
